May all the Star Trek nerds now weep for joy.
Yes, that includes me.

Scott Bakula needs to just go and find Dean Stockwell to make a Quantum Leap movie, or something that ties up that last episode.
Anyway, I've only seen it like ...7 times. It's fairly good though. 4 seasons isn't too bad, anyway.
I think it would be best to wait until Berman dies, heh.
I'm hoping for something a bit more DS9 like, showing off federation internal affairs with spies and conspiracies and polotics and the like.
At least we have Battlestar Galactica for now. Which, despite my initial predictions based on the miniseries, is actually pretty good.

Voyager's like, the best out of all of them, k?

Original/TNG? I say not.

BS. Voyager was when it all started to go downhill. Even TNG didn't use technobable so profusely. Not to mention that it basically rehashed all the plotlines of TNG, and pussified the borg (which, in all honesty, began with First Contact). Hell, it even pussified Q.

I think they "pussified" Q by making him wear facepaint or whatever in the first episode of TNG ...
TNG was dumb. dumb dumb dumb. Everybody bar crew had the tackiest uniforms ever, for it's time. And if you haven't noticed, all the plotlines in all Star Treks are horrible anyway, so copy+paste into voyager isn't that bad. Oh, and no wesley = win.
Unfortunately Neelix is a loser. And so was Kes, but she's gone. BTW is it just me or does Cpt. Janeway look and sound exactly like Dr. Polito from SS2?
EDIT: I'd argue more coherently and longer but I have the urge to play SS2 now ...

No she sounds nothing like Polito.
NEVER MAKE THE CONNECTION BETWEEN STARTRECK AND SYSTEM SHOCK 2 AGAIN
Anyway, Enterprise was kinda cool with the whole none if this is suppost to happen thing, but the ship was realistic, it didnt fix itself in deep space to being 100% fixed, sure they can replicate bits but no residual marks on the hull....
The vulcan chick was pretty hot though.
There was a 2 or 3 hour miniseries (not so good), which was successfull enough for them to make a series out of, and its acutally pretty good. Unfortunatly, I'm pretty sure its only on the Sci-Fi channel here in the states, so non-cable users are missing out (hint: Bittorrent!).

But with TNG those crappy plotlines were new and exiting! Voyager was just TNG in the gamma quadrant with added technobable and bs. Not to mention that it was excessively boring.

Don't forget Tuvok... and Kim... and Janeway come to think of it... oh and B'lana. The Doc was also extremely annoying at times.

^^
Take that, denied connection!
(God, I'm such a stirrer.)
And I say this as someone who used to watch Star Trek religiously, I've been been to an ST convention (which was very sad).
Say, in the last 5 minutes Al shows up and says "Sam! We thought we'd never find you! You're here to keep the ship from crashing!" And then Scott Backula looks at the screen and says, "LOOK OUT, A PLANET!" And so the Enterprise is saved from crashing into a planet. Then he finally leaps (and into a woman!) where he finally says "Oh boy." ROLL CREDITS.
High five, sir. You couldn't have asked for a finer successor to TNG than DS9.
I watched a TNG the other day, where they rescue some alien guy who "ascends" (you know the type). You could see his genitals through the tight, tight clothing. Needless to say, I couldn't finish eating my meatballs.
The trouble is with TNG is that it's more or less random encounters, usually inside Federation space. What I liked about Voyager was at least some sort of continuity from one episode to the next, and they were exploring uncharted territory all the time.
This last series was quite good, I thought, except for the "surprise ending". It's as though they got the idea from an internet fan-fic.
(For those who don't know: Archer and co. return to Earth after saving the human race. But all is not well! For the timeline has apparently been altered by...timetravelling reptillian space nazis! Duh duh duh!)
I agree, the actors were good, I just never got interested in such crappy storylines and nonsense.
That star trek.com exists.
