    2) Right to smoke (yay?)
    3) No longer are you Jail Bait!
    4) However all of your friends who are 17 are now Jail Bait to you!
    5) And you can die for our country now (hey atleast you can vote as well)

    So welcome to the land of 18...

    6) The right to bring others to an R rated movie (Fairly sure you can see them by yourself at 17), or, on the same line, see an X rated movie (...do they even make those anymore?).
    7) Your license is no longer probationary in the state of Wisconsin - meaning you can have more than 1 passenger.
    8) Legally open your own checking account
    9) Legally own your own credit card
    10) Legally rent your own hotel room
    11) Legally decide to stop going to school
    12) Legally live on your own
    13) Legally sell alcohol (...however that makes sense)
    14) You can go in that back room of movie rental places

    Ohio you have to be 19 to sell it in a restaurant, too.

    Also, you have to be 25 to bring someone else to an R rated movie, and 17 by yourself.

    You can also consent to non-emergency medical treatment at 18 without a parent present or contacted. Don't neglect that, it's an important one.
