    Looks great. The third and fourth shot remind me of co_sava (another good looking map), in a way.

    The lighting around the RT in the fourth shot looks strange.. The ceiling is red and dark, but the ring around the RT is bluish and the RT itself is a yellow-gray color.

    It's very nice, no doubt there.


    It seems to me to be a lot of open space, which any nub can camp the far side of a wall and wait for skulks. I don't know I cant tell the rest of the map :-D From what I do see though, is that it's very nice. Just very open, I'm not too sure what to say to add, maybe details like a tipped over caraging thingy from the previous workers who left or whatnot.

    That, and the textures seem to be very, well.. not helpful towards aliens hiding. Unless you have nightmares of aliens jumping at you since you didnt notice, thats fine :-D (That scream just gets me).

    Humm, You building this as an NS map?
    To me looks like their may be a lot of detail their, If it's going to be big you may risk maxing out som limmits?

    I know what you mean, but it looked worse with red lighting.

    Very nice map so far.
    Architecture is good and texture alignment is excellent.
    I like the height difference , steps up and down.which i think is nice when your running around your not constantly on the one level,u no? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
    I think you should tone down lighting in some small areas to add some darkness and shadows,. . i like some dark spots, right now all the areas seem well lit.
    buts its only a few pics of the map maybe you have some dark areas elsewhere?

    one other thing are u using spot lights for every circular light u have? u might hit the old entity limit pretty quickly.

    anways hope you get this map finished._

    OMG! This map has got everything! Red lights, a "has-been-used" -look ( unlike these new co_maps <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) and nice skylights.
    This is it.. I have to restart mapping.

    It looks very good, the lighting, the shadows, the architecture and texturing all fits perfectly IMO.     The 3rd and 4th screenshots I find are the most refreshing and original architecture I've seen in a ns map in a long time and along with the lighting which although seems slightly dull yet it fits the map so well.
    Reminds me slightly of old UT maps dont know why. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Hell maybe even have a little walkway outside where those windows are above and skulks can drop right down from the hive and..

    Good looking so far. Needs more infestation so far. I run off on my own little ideas too much..

    Would you mind if I use that maintainance corridor as insperation in my map? I've been trying to make a good looking set of pipes and such, but I've never gotten it to look JUST right to fit with the area... that kind of look would be PERFECT!

    I like you style of having many things "round". hopefully this doesnt mean too many stuck problems. and please, add some lights_spots or env_light so you get an additinal maplighting that fits to the skybox.
