<div class="IPBDescription">Rediculous</div> My school has completely clamped down on all computer use, the run command is blocked, C drive is blocked (or so they think), TEMP really is blocked, control panel and internet options is blocked, command prompt is disabled. So many websites are blocked that even the teachers are complaining, I'm wondering if there is a way to get by the system restrictions on the computers. I can't even change the resolution on these things anymore. The only things I've been able to access are telnet and drive C, but many folders in Drive C like TEMP are blocked. Is there anyway to use dirty windows tricks to get by these things? Like on windows when your computer is getting shut down remotely you can make the 1 minute timer 24 hours by setting the clock back. The school uses Windows 2000 Professional if it is important.

It is surely the most acute torture.
Wow, why even have the computers except for maybe internet kiosks...Best bet is to check some of the more respectable shady underground sites about and see what they reccomend. Should be some sort of tunneler available for specific blocked tcp/ip ports.
For stuff like blocked OS options (run command) you're pretty much boned unless theres some sort of hack available. To be honest, youre stuck unless you can get them to disable the security for you (which won't happen).
Sorry :\
Even that requires Admin access (to change the time).
