Im Releasing My Marine Model.

Ive decided to release my old unfinished Marine model I had been working on.
The entire model is done, Just needs to be animated. SO if Anyone feels up to it, knock yourself out.

    The problem is I havent animated it. Its just an OBJ file.

    You should try asking at Clan of Dead Goat or DLCSS, i doubt it'll get much help here.

    I would ask, Except to be perfectly honest I dont care If anyone animates it or not. Im just releasing it because I got alot of people asking for it.

    Heck, I havent even played NS since October let alone made models for it.

    yah but itll crash other ppl comps do to the rag doll bug in custom player models.
    Also i opened this up in ms3d (after converting it in de) i wont touch anything in animating or bone assignment over 5k jeese 10k is a little much haveing a bunch of these on screen. Hl2s models average less than this.

    I assume the screenshot is from 3d max and not HL1 nor HL2.

    In that case, textures will look different in HL1 but should look prety close to this in HL2.

    also for some reason it is meshed but there are no groups so the textures arent applied for me. And the screeny looks the same in ms3d cept with no textures

    The screenshot is from Maya. Ill see if i can get the .3ds export plugin working when I get home. That'll fix the mesh problem.

    Kiss **** much? This would make an excellent CP replacement or better yet, a replacement for those **** looking elites. And I'm not too sure about it crashing everyone's computer because I have custom player models for HL2 and they work just fine (not just re-skins, actual models)

    It really doesn't look 9k either so what came to mind is exactly what Brig said : You must have exported it wrong.

    And yes, I also must know, what else do you plan to work on BrigandierWolf? I could see a bright future in HL2 for you with your taste of weapons.

    Why not make some new animations for once? I mean, this guy looks way to Special Forces to be running around like a freaking ninny. Why not try and match the MGS Animations that Solid Snake had with his running and walking. Now that would do this model justice!


    Btw I'm an utter and total nub at animating so please don't send me to the pits of hell if I've just asked the impossible!
