any fps over 75 isnt' really missed, and anything over 100 is absolutely crazy cause there's no way the eye can even see that much. all you are doing is wasting CPU cycles that could be better used somewhere else...
In which case it would behoove you to get Flayra to code the bullets in. They don't exist graphically; the computer determines the path but shows no actual bullet graphic. Nice try though.
For most mods(ie CS, FA, HL), none of the standard models run at over 30fps. Thus you can kick down your fps to this. Also the way HL talks to the server, requesting a packet at each frame refresh, you can acctually reduce lag on your connection.
