Get That Annoying Text Off My Screen!

<div class="IPBDescription">annoying server junk</div> I understand the rules and regs of everyone's server. But when I want to play, I want to play, not read. I need to know how to get off all the text on my screen! sometimes it lasts for 20 seconds which is rediculous! Also, is there a way to turn off chat, because some clans like to sponsor themselves in the game by sending messages like
{clan}Cletus: Visit our webpage @ www.generichostsite.com/ourclaniscool.index and go to our server ip 000.00.000.000.
when that crap runs across my screen, it makes my anyeurism want to burst. I hate it, it must go. How?

I am assuming you are talking about amx/admin mod plugins that alow admins to show glowie msgs.

nope, can't disable them, go find a different server.

if you are talking about the MOTD just click the OK button...

and if you are talking about chat spam (in the second case) just mute the offender.

well u can mute em by TAB and klick theyr name but u wont get anything if hes got something important to say.

So its a bad choice to mute the whole team just to avoid such flamers, cause NS is a Teamgame and u need theyr informations
