    I think I know what he means. He probably knew some basic english already. So if you want to learn some Japanese you should learn some basic words and letters. One thing I learned when I was trying to learn Japanese was that now I can tell Japanese fonts from other langauges <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> .

    [EDIT:] I have Chrono Trigger for the PSX around here, somewhere. The one that came bundled with one of the Final Fantasies. I only have Chrono Trigger, though. Give me some time to look for it and play it (I've never played it, I've been meaning to) and then I'll pass it on to someone from the forums on the condition that they pass it on to someone else on the forums who hasn't played it yet, and they pass it on, etc...

    As Forrester said, German's my native language. I can speak French, though it isn't pretty (I can usually decypher French NS sites, though), and have learned a few basic phrases of Japanese thanks to a friend studying the language.

    I essentially started out with a very limited basic vocabulary and foggy ideas of English grammar (as though they ever became any clearer). After having beaten CT two times, I understood the story pretty well and kinda freaked my teacher, who was the highlight in a long line of incompetent didactic personnel, out by knowing more vocabs than him in many areas.

    Okay, I just found the disk. It's pretty scratchy, but I'm verifying all of the data now. It should still be playable. There's no case, so it'd be going around in a paper sleeve.

    I'll start making a list for anyone who wants to play it right now.
