i searched the forums and found that on this site the current version of NS is 3.0 beta 5 client right? so I dl it but when i go to servers it says my version differs from theres, they have another patch out I'm guessing, says 4.0 patch or something like that, my question is, which is the current version? how many patches are out there? and will you link them to this site if there are? Thanks.

NS beta 5 is the current version. If they have beta 4, it means the server wasn't updated. So you can't play on it since you have a different version than the server.

Also, make sure the folder is named "ns", not "nsp"

yea i just found out it works fine now, i hadn't played ns since the WON days. Can't wait for those epic battles to begin again. see ya all in the ready room.
