New Commander Strat

Tis a very simple idea that is bound to make the marines win, costs alot of points but who cares?
Havent actually tried it yet so it might not work

Stage 1
Build one of those radar thingys and research the blue flashy i-know-where-your-hiding thing.

Stage 2
Gather your troops up in 1 point

Stage 3
Use the radar thing to pin-point the location of all near by aliens

Stage 4
Drop buildings on the aliens so their trapped

Stage 5
Send in the troops to kill the non moving targets, and if ya really want ya can get some buildings outta it!

    Slight problem -- the aliens can eat their way out of the buildings you drop on them in fairly short order. Good idea, though <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    that would kill the aliens.... once.
    Then they respawn and they destroy the spread out buildings.

    (Not to mention having ripped your base to shreds while you were waiting)

    it <i>should</i> give the marines enough time to take out the intended hive

    Yeah...But it would definately work to trap that annoying Onos in your base while the marines finish it off.

    dropping buildings on aliens is the most retarded and n00bish strat i have ever heard why the hell would u want to drop buildings on aliens all they got to do is eat it and its a total waste of resources u could b suplying ur men with HA or weapons but nooo ur wasting ur money on traping aliens...........Think of a new strat man <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
