I wash it fairly often, and it kinda shrinks down to a sane size upon getting wet. So if anything is living it it, it would have to be microscopic, and I personally am not paranoid of microscopic organisms living in my hair or on any other part of my body for that matter.
The real danger happens to be creatures somewhat larger. About the size of a person, about the shape of a person, around the intelligence of a retarded chimp.
