At work we had a server that we turned on when we put it in the rack, and it was without reboot for over 365 days, never going down for a reboot until we took it down from the rack to physically move it. Go Linux! :P
well if i dont have a power failure here i think i can keep it up indefinitely. unless one of the cpus explodes, and thats unlikely.
i think windows 2000 was the most stable windows operating system ever made, i have to restart my windows xp computer every couple of weeks due to memory leaks X.x

i take extra precautions to make sure my network cannot be broken into. i have already had several hacking attempts from various people, but my router blocks them. and i constantly change passwords and internal ip addresses all the time to give them even more grief to deal with if they ever get past my router, and i doubt they ever will.
i had a Macintosh LC III printing server setup on my network at one time <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> it may only be 25 MHz but it is the most stable thing i have ever seen.

It's funny, considering how old my system is and all the quirky problems it has my system never crashes. At least not to the point of restarting itself anyway <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The longest it has ever been on for is two weeks, and when I got back it still worked just fine without a reboot.
My home PC is at 30 days right now (windows XP) and running quite alright <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

KRUNK! BRING THE SERVERS!
I think he knows, too.
But my the longest my PC has ever been up was like 5 months, without any reboots whatsoever. No problems, no memory leaks, nothing. At all.
Yay for my PC, and it's running lots of stuff as well. Yet it runs smoothly most of the time.
Of course, defragging is a different situation....
The lunixmonster had some insane uptime, I will go try and find that post where they show the uptime.
