Free Low-spec Multi-player Games?

<div class="IPBDescription">For My Little Step Brother</div> Does anyone know of any decent and free online multiplayer games
that don't required a hefty graphics card?

At the moment i'm considering installing Dungeon Siege for him
and I to play but his graphics card might struggle in the open-ish area's.
(And Dungeon Siege doesn't require a CD-Key.)

I'm also considering Unreal Tournament but i'm not sure how he'll
hand a fps via a mouse and keyboard.

So anyone want to help my step-bro and list a game or two?

Thanks

    Quake 1 only requires a pentium 1 I believe.

    dungeon siege is good

if he is into RPGs try Baldur's gate.

UT is a classic. If he can't handle an FPS with a mouse and keyboard, it's time for him to learn. The various Quake titles are also good.

Have you thought of Diablo? It doesn't get much easier than pointing and clicking and is a wonderful game to cut your teeth on.

Hmm how low are we talking about?

    UT low?
    Half Life low?
    Quake I low?
    Starcraft low?
    Civilization I low?
    Prince of Persia low?

(I'd forgot about that until now!)

I'm not sure what video card it is because i won't be
at my mum's place for another hour or so but it ran
    NeverWinter Nights pretty well.

Whats that "Gunbound" game like? Hard to get into?
Biggy big download? Account creation required?

Gunbound is good. Runs on low spec machines well. Account creation easy and free, download is fairly big but it's worth it.

Gunbound was alright but it had far too much engrish and other crap.

For good wholesome fun in the same genre check out Worms.

    Who doesn't love that game?
