    Been there done that. The thing about this puzzle is that its supposed to be harder for people who think analytically. Theres a very simple trick to it involving the name (this is one of the rules, so its not new information), and analytical people just don't see it. Though I have heard of people solving it mathematically with no trouble at all and only later discovering the significance of the name.

    Yeah, I figured this out the first time I ever saw it, which was last year. Apparrently I'm very poor at analytical thinking.     Either way, it completely baffles me how people can fail to figure this out. But that's because I am me, and used to thinking the way I do. If I had a wish from a fairy godmother or something, I'd wish for the ability to think the way other people do. I would be the greatest diplomat ever.

    Thanks for reminding me about this one, by the way, I remember that last time I saw it I wanted to try it out on people.

    seriously, try again, and think very simply. You're counting the flowers around the rose. If I tell you how its done you will seriously feel stupid, because it is an extreamly simple problem, all you have to do is ignore certian factors. If your headset on doing it mathimatically (the hard way) you might want to start with the fact that the numbers that come up are always even... what does that tell you?
