Proper Temp For X800xt Plat.?

Have an x800xt platinum, and with the fan kicking into high gear when its temperature heats up, I've noticed it really kinda gets loud. So I checked the temp under display settings, and it gets up to about 63-37 C. Considering the lower temp of other components (cpu included), is this normal from anyone's experience? Thanks!

doesn't sound normal to me, sound like you've got a bodge fan, replace it with an artic cooling fan kit! or take it back

My 6800gt gets up to 70C sometimes. I was told anything over 80c is when you know its getting a little too hot...

Now I don't know if ATi and Nvidia cards have the same threshold, but if they do I'd say yours is fine <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

(Mine idles at 60c and goes up to 70c while playing games)

i have a x800 pro VIVO running at 400/400 in windows (underclocked to keep it cool) and 550/580 in games, and it has never reached 60 Degrees C.
According to the ATi Tool logs, it maxes out at 59 occasionally

it idles at 39, and load at mid 50s
I have an arctic cooler on mine though, so it's bound to stay cooler.

i think it's perfectly fine for it to go to 70, i've heard some people have pushed it to 100 and not damaged the card.

    Although, the lower the better

[EDIT:] just noticed that the log file is 40.5 MB :/ and it's a .txt so it takes ages to open <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I've got an x800 XT running at stock speeds, and I usually idle around 40ºC on desktop, and around 50-60ºC in games.
