<div class="IPBDescription">Onos bug</div> Hey all
Ok well ive been doing ns mapping for a few weeks now and i sorted it out quite well, did it all by trail and error, now my new map which is co_fusion ( pictures can be found here <a href='http://sfmapping.4t.com' target='_blank'>http://sfmapping.4t.com</a> ) <!--emo&::hive::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/hive5.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='hive5.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Any way, i did a full compile, and i think my map is on 99% so the FX clan agreed to beta test it, now its 6 Vs 6 and the map is getting underway, every one enjoying themselfs when 2 / 6 aliens onos and thier legs sink into the floor and when they evolve they get stuck and i have no idea why.
I was told i should put a height of 1 unit func_wall around the entire map where a onos is likely to go, but i dunno if that was true, as then that would make epoly quite high and also vis would show it as always visable, Any way just thought i would post and make sure.
Cheers in advance <!--emo&::marine::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Thats completly ridiculous, Punch whoever told you that, NOW!! before they do any more damage.
Apart from the fact that this should be in the Help forum. . .Make sure you compile using natural-selections hull file, I think this usually sort the Onos sticking probs._
Thanks for tip, but where is this natural-selection hull file?
It's the file <i>nshulls.txt</i> in your ns directory (.../steam/steamapps/half-life/ns). Next time, read the FAQ before posting. ^_^
But since im here, it says add it to the end of my csg, well i did this: -hullfile C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\sonicfusion\half-life\ns\nshulls.txt and it doesnt find the file
co_fusion is now 100% finished and with no bugs, well with any that ive found <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Marines finally won, but i think that was to do with the rather poor alien team, on more than one occasion i spent more than 3 mins in the hive with half the alien team after me.
Anyhow, you need to shorten the tunnels to the hive, they are an annoyance at best, absoultly stupid imo.
Texturing is average, as is brushwork and you layout is simple and linear.

Thanks for the feed back, since its my first ns map im pleased with it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
