The song wouldn't have worked very well with someone, and it sounded alot better with somebody. Try it, you'll see what I mean. Go ahead, try singing it both ways. Sheesh, go insane over one little deviation from the main text. And what's worse, you actually KNOW the main text, I suppose if you're name is a certain someone (AllYourHive), you would take great offense at someone taking what your name is based on and changing one little word. You better sue!
Next, no one is **** on anyone's grave! I would be very happy to see a song I wrote used like this! The reason why it's funny is because we all (well, alot of us) know and love that song, and seeing it used this way only pays it TRIBUTE.
Horrible singing? You try to make something sound like a song using words not meant to be in it and what's more, a finite set of options to choose from. They had to extend 30 seconds of dialouge to three minutes! Voice inflection is about the only options, and they did a VERY good job for amatuers using less-than-profession recording equipment and conditions.
