I don't think those placcie boxes give too good EM shielding, which is essentially what a case used to be for, other than looking the nuts with some blue LED feet, like mine ^_^
Blue undershine, car-style FTW!
Tho that exposed powersupply is not too safe...heh don't go digging inside of there with it live (or even after you've turned the power off)
I like the little silver tub of his aswell. I've always wanted to do something like this. I should hunt around for some boxes.
and there stackable! win

"Doesn`t seem to generate static charges" is a very vague analysis..
yes... static up the ****...
id be really worried about it.. and wouldnt even bother with a plastic box...
be sure not to wear your sweater while on the computer!!
Wouldn't heat become a problem though?

So what? No kids?
If you've made a server in a tupperware container, your chances of having kids are slim anyways. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Why have a box at all? I remember a few years ago, we had an old computer completely gutted, and all the components were hooked up and pretty much piled on a work bench.
On the contrary, real men recognize the danger of having large quantities of current so near their most prized possesions.
