Profile Updateing Problem

Also glad to see the completion of 3.0 <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Now i forgot my password so i had the website send me a new one then i login fine. When i went to my profile i went to change my old email address to my new one and a new password as well. I clicked update and it sent me a verfication email at my new email address. So i clicked on the link on the email it brought me to a page.
In red text it states Verification code doesn't match. Account couldn't be activated.
What is that all about i just wanted to update my profile. It was a profile that was moved from the old site to the new site and this is the first time i attempted to update my profiel at the new site.
