Installer Will Not Run

<div class="IPBDescription">Exactly that</div> When I try to run the install program, with and without Steam running, I get an error message that says:
"Unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted.
Error 193: %1 is not a valid Win 32 application."
I have attempted a download from fileplanet and a couple of other places, none of the three work. Each one gives this error. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

Are you trying to run the installer instead of saving it to your hard drive? That sounds like what's happening, and just downloading it should fix it.

I have downloaded three copies of the program, none of which will work. sounds like some sorta wierd permission issues (you don't have access to where you downloaded it to or something)

or posibly something in your downloader messing up.

I would suggest trying to download it via different meathods.

be it downloading to a different location, ussing rclick save as, ussing open instead of save....

Also, if you're using any download accelerator programs, turn them off and see if that helps.
