I just hate the popular obsession with the trial. Actually, with all celebrity trials. Do you mean that you blame their parents? At that age, when your parents tell you to do something, you generally trust that it is OK. So, the kids wouldn't just decide to stay away based on his appearance or past reputation (which they were probably too young to really understand, anyway).
