Importing Or Merging Favs In Firefox

how would i import/backup or merge favorites in firefox?

Favorites aren't saved in the Firefox folder, they're saved in an html file in
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\yourprofile\

You don't have to move anything, since as far as I know, all version of Firefox use the same folder. If for some reason yours doesn't (like oh, say if you ran it under a different profile) you can copy that file over to the new location.

In the bookmarks manager for OldFirefox, go to file>export. Then, in the bookmarks manager for Firefox, go to file>import and import the file you exported.
