Ok, heres what I realized...
1) I did all this stuff in a new folder, without ANY steam or half-life files AT ALL. That would be why it didnt work. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
2)Im an idiot.
But, I do have a question, Could I not just do the server crap RIGHT into the existing half life folder? so basically just move all that stuff I had, into the half-life folder? I don't think I can, because the ns stuff is a little different right? Or am I just dumber? How about making a HLServer folder INSIDE my account folder (steamapps\HLServer). Would that work? Is that was I was supposed to do in the first place? SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME. Steam is confusing.
