What Happened To My Warspike!?

I've gotten back into NS now that 3.0 final has been released, and decided to get my favorite custom job, the warspike. So I got to NSArmsLab to download it and stick it in. But it's not the way it used to be! Now the reload is the marine holding it up by one hand, instead of swinging it around and reloading. The new animation seems to have pauses in it just to take up time :/. In addition, there's a an idle animation where the marine holds it upright, blocking off the entire right screen. And it doesn't even line up correctly after it, making it jump afterwards! Anyone have this old version I'm talking about?

As a more on topic question, how do I use multiple muzzleflashes? NS always seems to use whatever muzzleflash1 is and use it for everything :/.

    That wasn't very useful. I mean I've downloaded some muzzleflashes and want to use different ones for each. Is this possible from my point of view?

    Second, didn't like the warspike on your site Fuzzy. I'm interested in the old version Cheez! says he has. Anyone know of a site where he can upload it/send it?

    Third, anyone know about editing tracers?

    Type tracer_ in console, the rest you can figure out via steams code listing.

    *edit* I went back and redid the fire animation and fixed the end of the reload animation. Fire animation no longer has a crappy tilt to it and the reload dosent jerk to the mag release.

    Alright, I found the old reanimation I was looking for. Turns out I had it lieing in my folder without realizing it >_<. Unfortunately, it's only for normal marines. Would it be possible for someome to either tell me how to make a version with heavy arms, or if I gave them the file do it for me? I really like the animations.

    And I meant different muzzleflashes for different guns. Like a muzzleflash for my HMG+LMG, and a different one for my shotgun, and yet another different one for my pistol. I alreay have multiple different muzzleflashes, and I was wondering whether that was possible.

    the reload does not suit this gun AT ALL (stop using the specops anims and make ur own )

    idle isn't really needed, just shows off how **** ns hands are

    Upload your version of the animations and I'll see what I can do about the heavy arms


    And all the animations were made by me on my version, spec ops had nothing to do with mine. The cal. of the gun would make a high recoil and when reloading, I dobut you would be able to reload a gun that big any other way than the way I've done it, unless your pumped on some uber steroids, which by the ns arms look, isint happening.

    Well, I tried e-mailing to kja88@hotmail.com, but I don't know if you got it. I really appreciate you making a heavy arms version for me. Not to say your animation is bad or anything, I just like this one more. I do like what you do with the bar though. In the animation I have it stays up, and is pulled back once after loading in the magazine. Now if only there was some way to have the swing back animation, but with your bar thing...

    Oh these are brigader wolfs animations. He never sets the hands up right, so I cant add heavy arms w/o doing mad modifications to the model.

    nooooo....the draw animation IS the specop draw anim. It's the same for the lmg and hmg

    although the rest make sense, it just doesn't seem like they do the model justice. Especially the reload, but this is all said with no offense given, this is purely just my opinion

    Or it could be the default 1.04 grenade launcher draw animation, but thats just me.

    You know what the only thing missing from the Warspike was? A custom sprite for when you kill with it. *dreams*

    Oh, and I got the 1.04 GL as LMG from NSArmslab, and I've noticed that for some reason there's no muzzeflash when I fire it when I have HA. Is there anyway to fix this or what?

    Yea, decompile the la and ha model and take the $attachment string from the la model's .qc code (open with wordpad) and paste it into the HA's .qc and recompile.

    As for the sprite, take a screenshot of the warspike from the side, greyscale it, and make a sprite out of it. If you dont know how to make sprites, theres tons of tutorials on it and its pretty simple to learn.
