cdrom wont boot first
Ok I went into the Bios and changed the bios to allow the cdrom to boot before the hdd does, well the thing is the cdrom still isnt booting up first
trying to reinstall windows btw, cause it crashed.
anyhow, when I try and boot fromt eh cdrom it wont even start to read from the cdrom it goes straight to the hdd and reads from that.. is there something else I can do to get the pos to boot from the cdrom? kthx, in advance, but Ive tried everythingand its ticking me off.

as for trying to disable the hdd from booting I do that, and get an error saying add a hdd device or some bs and it still wont run from the cdrom after it says add a boot device and hit enter..
my Mobo/system has done this since i could remember its why i never tried reinstalling windows before cause for somer eason the mobo always tells the hdd to boot first no matter what i do
I even tried switching the IDE cables around by linking the hdd cable to the cdrom which it did make it the prim master but stillw ouldnt boot from cd and yes the cd works i put it in this cpu and it started right up
