Set My Resolution Too High

<div class="IPBDescription">my monitor turns off whenever i start NS</div> Ok so i've gone to mkae HL look purdier, and ive ended up setting the resolution too high for my monitor (1600*1200 is the setting) and now whenever I start NS or any other games using the HL engine my monitor turns off and shows a blue message saying 'Warning - Input signal too high' or something to that effect. The problem is I cant go into the game to change this setting, so I cant play anything! Is there a command that I can use to set my resolution before starting the game?

Unfortunatley I cant screenshot the error taking place.

    There should be a variable in config.cfg to change your resolution. I can't remember what it is though.

    Play Games-->Rclick on HL--> Properties --> Launch Options

    put in:
    -w 800

    launch hl

    fix your res from there.
