<div class="IPBDescription">Is it a good idea?</div> I was playing last night and the full alien team was sitting our side our base and we were hiding behind a wall of turrets but we couldnt take out any of them when we left our base, so i got a jet pack and got out the base and headed straight for a hive , unloaded a full LMG into it and all of a sudden i was being attacked by most of the alien team, by that time my guys where all out killing the defences at our base and getting resorce towers up.

So even in the mariens team where team work is greatly needed , one man can make a huge diffrence.

This is not to say at the start you should all go your own way its if ur pined against a wall one man can get out and way faster than a group of people and one man is less of a target.

This makes sense. Attacking a hive is sure to get the whole alien team's attention.

I've done that too but it was too late to help my team. In some cases it is a very good idea.

yep, when your commander is obviously against a wall using initiative is a good thing, just try to let him know what you're doing so he can coordinate the team

It sured owned the rest of my (newbie) team. They dropped what they were doing to go defend it...like it mattered anyway...we wern't using Onos.

We lost that match because I had 4 guys with HMG owning me.

Distractions work. Plain and simple. And anything that works should be used.
