Help With Hltv

Sorry all....I just didn't have the time to read through all the topics containing HLTV in it.



I'm looking at running HLTV on a server as a spectator. I need help finding out how to run HLTV and if someone can point me in the right direction or pointers with it.

All you need to do, is have steam download "Dedicated server"

Run HLTV.exe from your \Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\user@name\dedicated server folder.

tell it to "connect (Ip adress)" if the server is passworded use "serverpassword (password)" then connect.

To connect to the HLTV find out your own IP followed by port number (default HLTV ports is 27020) e.g 12.3.45.678:27020 from your console or from an external server connect program.

To customise your HLTV, open hltv.cfg and put in a name and password, max spectators etc.

Do you know of where I can download the complete program package for it?

I have it installed in me counterstrike folder...but I don't remember all the files and dll's that go with it to operate.
