Was a tough battle between the 2001FP (pictured here) and identically priced 2005FP widescreen variation, but I finally did it... the wall of awesome is complete.

    Nice. How fast is the refresh rate on those? I really would like a 19" LCD that's great (not just good) for gaming...

    I especially like the pc case you got there. :P

    As far as I know, all Dell does is buy other companies' monitors and rebrand them. I have a Dell monitor too. No big deal. It works quite well.

    I dunno if you can do this with an nVidia card, but if you have an ATi card, you can get a converter for the second plug (The one for DVI if you use a CRT monitor. CRT if you use a DVI monitor.) and plug both monitors in to the same card, then use Hydravision to set it up properly.

    I'd be doing it via two different graphics cards, using my GeForce 3 ti 200 as the primary and the Riva TNT 32MB as the secondary. Yes, I know they're old cards.

    Grendel: 2 21" CRTs at work, also dell, with a 6800.

    As far as the performance, I don't think CPU is too bad, but running 2 screens at 1600x1200 can be a drain on the vid card. A windowed game with both monitors active can take up to a 10fps hit, I've seen.

    Grendel: I use a 3dFX Voodoo4 for my third monitor. The performance hit is negligible, though this could just be because I'm not asking much from it (the monitor it's connected to has a max of 640x480x60hz at 8bit color).
