<div class="IPBDescription">size of crosshair? and how change that?</div> Hi folks,
I play at the lowest resolution and I think that that influences the size of the crosshair. If so, pls read on...
I was wondering if there is a way to change that without having to make new (smaller) crosshairs? So is there a way that I can edit some file (like it is possible to edit a file to change the font-size for lower resolutions) in order for them to become smaller in game.
For instance: I have downloaded a custom-sprite for the shotgun crosshair that gives the exact impact of the shotgun. But - assuming the resolution influences the size of the crosshair - it wouldn't give the precise impact anymore.
So here you can find a picture at the lowest resolution (640 x 480) :
<img src='http://img14.exs.cx/img14/899/nsshivab2a00039yi.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
And here is a picture of the highest resolution I can get on my computer (1152 x 864) :
<img src='http://img178.exs.cx/img178/5457/nsshivab2a00040ww.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
You can see that the crosshair is bigger at lower resolotion (And I'm standing against the wall in both of the pictures). Perhaps I'm telling nothing new here, but is there a way to fix that?

You can scale the crosshairs manually. Its really easy, it just takes a dint of effort and some experimentation to get the scale you want.
Thanks for the feedback. I will post this in the help subforum. But you can allways pm me how to make that sprite (with spriteview and spritewizard I assume?). I will try to do it.
