Ok Well Ns Installation

C:\ProgramFiles\Valve\Steam\Steamapps\mypersonalsteamaccountscrappy name thing\halflife\
but still no ns symbol on steam and ns wont even start.
please help me ive been trying to get it to go for 3 weeks now
and i do have the orginal halflife and the ns installer thing 3.0

Yo I have the exact same problem i have half life:source 1 and i installed NS version 3 but it wont show up in steam so if you get a reply other than this one plz tell me how u fixed it.

dude you need to have halflife original halflife source does not work and i ended up having to buy the platinum edition in or der to get the original so hav fun geting the original, because source dont do u any good unless u wanna play the singleplayer

Anyone else see any logic in this?

Source will come into play when the number of mods increases. The same could have been said about UT2004, when it first was released (Oh, this is nearly the same as the last one, why should I part with 35 quid and get this one?)

Just wait until Source mods are more common.

And for the record, HL2 single player does *NOT* deserve 97%. I would rank it more like 90-92%

well i didnt feel like waiting and i got halflife now but it dont do me much good not wanting ns to work
