My point is, that now you are complaining about things, and when it is changed, you start to complain about the changes, just like now. "we want that back", "we want that back"... I suggest to think about upgrading NS, is it really neccesary. CS is also with lots of community and stuff, but it is not changing SO much, and no one is complaining.
People should consider the messages sent by not having a clan scene. It can say any number of things, not all of which are true in the case of NS:
- The game when mastered was simply not worth playing. - The game had fundamental issues that made playing at a high level impossible. - The community wasn't supported properly and died.
Thankfully with NS, the game is totally worth playing at a higher level, it's the other two that are the issue. I'm not saying we're more important than a public scene, but you have to realise that a succesful game will have both. If i was an investor in UWE i'd be looking for a game that appealed to the masses but one that also appealed to a higher level of play. If i saw a dying clan scene I'd start to ask questions about the game. Esports is massive now and people getting paid to play games is the future. A game which can't support this will be less appealing to an investor.

kabuum, think about what you're saying. Here is what happens right now: 1) Game is unbalanced for whatever reason(s) 2) Devs try to balance game 3) Devs release new patch that they think might balance game 4) Players play game, find yet another reason why the game is unbalanced Repeat
You just want to stop at step 1. What's the point of that? "Yes the game is unbalanced, but why bother going through the process of trying to fix it if we may actually not get it perfectly right. God forbid we have to do this over and over again." Don't you see why that's a one-way ticket to NS's death? I mean, jeez, annoying as they may be sometimes, the complaints (otherwise known as feedback) are necessary. Would you rather the dev team create and update this game in a vacuum, prohibiting the players from discussing problems with the game openly?
