Let it snow, your question isn't complicated enough. You are supposed to ask what happens if the cc and hive are destroyed simultaneously, and the timer runs out at the same moment.

It's like you going out and buy a loaf of bread that says the weight is 500g. Now the chances of you getting a bread that's 450-550 might be 99%. But the chance for you to get exactly 500.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000..... is so little that it can be ignored.
Which leads to the question: Can things happen simultaniously (spelling <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->) or is everything happening step by step and the time intervals are soo small, that it just seems to happen at the same moment?
Of course, Half-Life isn't multithreaded. The game goes through the list of entities sequentually every frame, so whichever entity has a lower value would be updated first. I suspect the CC would die first, as the game seems to spawn team_command before team_hive.

I'm tempted to try it now, maybe it releases scorpions that hover wihtout flapping.
