How Do You Run Hl In A Window?

Someone posted something about this before here, but I can't find it again. How do you run HL in a Window and not as fullscreen? Or even easier, just add -startwindowed to your Half-life command line. You can also change this in the HL menu, by going to Configuration>Video>Video Mode, then clicking "start in window". I think this might only work if you have -startwindowed, but it's worth trying anyway.
