Good luck... the analog thumbstick sucks. It's just a chiclet that you slide against the body. Not a stick at all, a pain in the rear to use. Oh, and there's no right stick, so good luck controlling your throttle and brake without going full-full, using the damn buttons.
i want the white gran turismo PSP <img src='http://members.lycos.co.uk/gegenki/Final%20Fantasy%20X%20PSP%20peg.JPG' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
So when you open the 'Saved Data Utility' and have a file selected, it'll usually play a small movie over the thumbnail and have another picture in the background.
1. Go into the PSP\saveddata folder 2. Backup the whole thing for good measure 3. Go into the folder of the saved profile and you'll notice some png's hiding in there -ICON0.png = the thumbnail -PIC1.png = the background 4. To change this is really just simple editing and overwriting
You'll notice though, when you go back to the saved data and have the thumbnail selected, a movie will start playing in it's place
5. ICON1.PMF is the 'movie' so just open it up with notepad, delete everything and save.
Now when you're back in there.. again, you'll just have the thumbnail and it should just stay like it is.

All the games by Rare after they got bought by Microsoft have sucked. Kameo was looking good, until microsoft bought it. Rare didn't make a bad game in their time at Nintendo, and now look what happened.
It may also have something to do with the fact that all the good talent at Rare left to form Free Radical though <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Warioware's the only game that makes me want the DS at the moment, but Ape Escape, Lumines and Metal Gear Ac!d sound great on the PSP (Plus new GTA maybe)...but i'm going to wait a few months at least until the UK launch of the PSP before I make my decision.
I wonder how much the DS duel screens are going to be used though. I can imagine that some games to be released on both platforms would only use the touch screen in a minimal manner, to ease the porting over of games. I played Mario DS for a bit, with the touchscreen movement controls. It was just annoying for me (though i'd probably get used to it) and I didn't how it added anything to the game that an anolgue controller wouldn't. Could be nice for RTSs though.
I'm pretty impressed with PSP as well considering all the bad things I'd been hearing about it. 5 hour or so battery life (Depending on what game etc) is pretty good and a price point alot closer to the DS than I was expecting. £150 standard and £175 value pack, plus games from £25-30 compared to the DS at £20-£25. I think the PSP looks better at the moment, but there's still a few months to go.

Either through intuition or dumb luck, I've found out a lovely way to edit the saved game thumbnails and backgrounds.

However, who cares. I can't see any reason for me to get a PSP. Plus, Warioware is great while waiting in the cue for Tesco.
