<div class="IPBDescription">and sleight of hand.</div> Hi guys,
I've just (after a chance meeting with a quite proficient card magician) rediscovered an interest in card magic & sleight of hand, something I used to be quite interested in, but grew apart from as I grew older.
What I'd like to know is... Are there any current practicioners in our little community, and do you have any suggestions on where/how to start? I'm going to wander down to my local library after the Easter break, but I'd be interested to see if there's any good resources I could be looking at online.
Thanks all!

What actually is this? Like.. card tricks and stuff?
Seriously though, try your local toy shop, they might have a magic set. Ok, it'll probably be for children, but it will be a good start. At least you get a picture tutorial for it...
I put aside 15 cards. 14 random and 1 ace.
I let the "victim" shuffle the cards and then lay them down in
5 rows of 3. We took turns picking up a card and whoever
picked up the ace was the winner and the loser had to:
make the coffee's/go get lunch/<random task here>.
Obviously I never went for the ace straight away because
that'd ruin the fun too quickly ;-)
Well worth the £4.
