Mic Delay

Hey, ok...i love NS, and sometimes being able tohave a mic is nessecary to have a good game. Well, my mic has a terrible delay. I used the voice_loopback 1 console command, and i will say something into my mic, then i will have to wait about 7 or 10 seconds for it to be heard. So there is a 7 or 10 second delay from when im saying something for it to be heard by everyone else...how can i fix this?

I never heard of this before... Make sure your cl_rate, rate, and cl_updaterate are maxed.... uh... I guess this sounds like a latency problem.

Call someones name out and see if they turn to you before you hear your voice on loopback. If he does, it means loopback is putting a delay on it repeating it to you, but not the server.
