Marines Fall In The Floor But Alien Not

<div class="IPBDescription">when me walking with my marine</div> so whe me traveling bunny skull doesnt happen nothing when will test my jetpack fly i fall in the flloor and some reason has some kind of slope i can walk back but some time that slope end and i will fall to eternity.
so what is happen with my map and why the marines is only way to fall?

    Carioca- show me the section of map in both VHE WireFrame, Solidfill, and textured, along with the location IN GAME with the flashlight on and off

    Sounds to me like a clipnode problem. Try using another cliptype, or simplify the area. Also, wireframe screenshots would be nice.

    red line where i start fall the blue dot is where is the slope and the arrow indicate where happing the fall some reason u dont fall over the tanks or the bumped floor

    those messages are normal, it just means your moving too fast in one direction (ex. falling a long way)

    putting a 1 unit brush over everything is a very bad idea, and thats also poor mapping technique.

    you need to fix those brushes in hammer that look like they are off the grid, because the compile tools cant work right if the verticies of brushes are not on the grid.

    So this only happens with the onos? Are you at all compiling your map with the ns hulls?

    If you have no idea wth I'm talking about <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> . The nshulls.txt can be found in the ns folder, when using the batch compiler check the CSG tab and select this file at 'Hull file' from your ns dir.

    check to make sure the area you were just working on is lined up right

    ALso- Gigabyte, I just meant cover that one small area- it could be a randomized glitch... I've had it happen. perfectly normal for anything BUT the giant-asstic onos... 0o;'

    if you look at the pic of his brush on the grid, its off the grid. thats probably the cause of the marines sinking into the floor. and the leaf portal saw into leaf... uhh.. check the mapping bugs thread made by darkati, that might fix your problem.
