The Werewolves Hunger for Victims...
Brace yourself.

Signups begin now!

It's a lovely tuesday evening. Perfect for signing up for nigh-certain death, wouldn't you say?
Well, here's your chance: The Werewolf Game IV is now accepting bold, foolhardy candidates!

For further info regarding the game, please consult the rules.

What you will need:

A postcount of at least 100. This is to ensure that we get active players. Special dispensation can be given, PM me for info.

Time. TWG is a very time-consuming game. You never know what kind of plots you will get caught up in, requiring you to suddenly dedicate substantial amounts of time to the game. Also, it is uncertain exactly for how long the game will last. It could last for only a week, it could last for a month. Don't sign up if you're planning a vacation soon.

An IRC client. Not absolutely necessary, but a huge help. Popular clients include HydraIRC, Klient, XChat, Trillian, mIRC, etc. etc. etc.

Additional information regarding this specific round:
We will have eighteen (18) players. One slot will be reserved for the host of TWG III, Renegade, so seventeen slots will be available. Slots are given out on the basis of "first come, first serve." No, this isn't completely fair, but... No, there is no "but." It isn't completely fair. Deal with it. Chances are you'll be unfairly treated many many times in your life, might as well get used to it. Where were we?
Oh yes, werewolf game.
Right.

We will have four (4) werewolves this game for even more flesh-rending fun. Those big, round, watery eyes you're making mean that you're really looking forward to this, don't they?
Hey wait, tears?

The game will start on friday, the first of April. Subject to change. Offer void after bank holiday. Yadda yadda.

Note to self: Don't write TWG threads when you're in "that mood." This is getting out of hand. *ahem*

How to sign up:

Please start your post with the following sentence: "I sign up."
This will make it easier for me to discern at a glance who is signing up for the game, and who is posting in the thread for other reasons (in order to ask questions, for example).
When signing up, please include your time zone, just so we can see whether you're inactive or just on the wrong side of the planet.

I sign up. I missed the first three games of this, but it looks really interesting and good fun.

    Timezone is GMT.

Edit: I have a question. Are the four wolves told who the other wolves are, or do they have to make a guess like the humans?

The last signups took more then 12 hours to fill compleatly... This one is less then an hour in and we are half way there, plus we have 2 more open slots then last game, and most of our american NS forumers are currently at school!

I'm pretty sure most American schools are closed this week for Easter/spring break. At least mine is.

    Mine was closed last week.

And this thread has been open for almost 2 hours, not less than one hour.

Actually, it isn't exactly the same. It is easy to have secret conversations that others don't know about when it is played online, so the game is a lot more interesting.

Metalcat, I'm pretty sure the english time zone is GMT.

That doesn't stop me. Seriously, you couldn't possibly be any worse than me. In fact, if that's how you feel, you should join this game just to watch me screw up, and feel good about yourself.

The rules are on the forum. If there are any you don't get, we'll be happy to explain 'em.

If you understand the rules, cold night, feel free to sign up. You'll soon grasp the dynamics of the game. I was a bloody nub when I started this, and look at me now: I haven't improved at all! Wait, maybe that wasn't such a good example...

You can come on to #ns-twg (Gamesurge) before the game starts if there's anything you don't get. (Offer applies to all. Results not guarenteed.)
