<div class="IPBDescription">how to ...?</div> how do I open a dedicated NS 3.0 Server for a LAN ?
If i make an DoD or other game it's quite easy... cause steam-->dedicated -> Dod.
But NS ins't available there.. so is starting the game and choosing "new game" the same as a dedicated server ? I don't think so ..
tell me pls how to. !

.. but its completely unneccessary.
The solution is sv_lan 1.
I thought the cross at "LAN" in the steam tool does the same as the command sv_lan 1 but .. seems not.
I just have another little problem <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> .
Server is running.. all is ok.. but the clients on a lan can't see my server in the Games list. If they connect through the console it works fine.
Something to adjust to let me server get visible ?
thx ! <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Internet / steam games are working fine and my server is correctly added to the master. Even the hostname change is done after a few seconds.
