It would be best if... Well, actually, it would be more true to the source material if I didn't tell you at all, other than that it's from game you've never heard of and that you should play it as soon as possible.

They're all a bunch of nubs who won't play it anyways, because they won't even look at anything that doesn't shove fancy schmancy 3d models and pixel shaders in their face. It's probably for the best.

Consider them swayed.
And your avatar reminded me of Ico, which in turn helped me realize that there are actually 3 games worth being interested in on the PS2 (compared to the Xbox's 2 and the Gamecube's more than I can count) Get that number up to 6 and I'll consider buying one.

Well, it's true! Just about every Gamecube game I see looks interesting. Maybe not as interesting as the 3 PS2 games, but more interesting than everything else on the PS2 put together, anyway.
Bah, I could've told you what it was. While I hadn't played the games, I did enjoy reading the story at http://marathon.bungie.org/story/. The chapter graphics (including those Pulse is using) are available at the site as well. The game and graphics are definitely dated, but the story is still quite interesting.
Eh, Pulse has a point on gamecube games, mates. There is a higher quantity of good games since the majority are First Party and are thus made inhouse by Nintendo themselves.
Way too many cheap throw-togethers on the ps2. But the good ps2 games are really bloody good.

But otherwise you make a good point. They came to the ps2 because they saw it's hardware sales.
So is he going to try a higher bred female horse by winning some big, fabulously wealthy race but ultimately fail and die because he dreamt of living in the past, which wronged him?
I created my avatar. It's a unit in Total Annihilation, a third party unit which I made. I thought it looked cool, so I stuck with it.
I used to drink 18 oz. of orange juice, every day, 365 days a year, and I did it for 10 years straight. If I didn't drink it then by the end of the day I would feel like I was falling apart and had to find some. Then I mysteriously became allergic to orange juice, and cannot drink anymore.
You can guess mine, I like doom and its funny

So it should be Makoto...
