Bug Question For Older Maps

I'm trying to run an older map (my old ns_andromeda_beta2 actually, for the memories) and with 3.0 + steam I cannot get into the game. It loads, and I can see the ready room from the menu, but if I close the menu the game flickers and I can't see anything. Anyone have any idea? It's running fine, I can move if I close the menu, I just can't see anything.
