Crash To Desktop When I Get In Game

Well, been playing fine since it was released to the public, not sure if this is something related to the new version or not. I load up fine and enter the ready room. Soon as I walk in and join the game, anywhere from 2-10 seconds in (before I can spawn) I crash to the desktop. Tried changing my video settings and modes, decreased hardware accelaration on both my GeForce 3 and my SB Audigy, changed refresh rates, made sure all my drivers (including Direct X) are up to date...still no luck. Also have tried disabling my firewall and anti-virus, although it ran fine with all that up before.
Any ideas or suggestions for me? Was playing fine as late as 5am this morning and now I tried to jump in today and this has come up. ;/

1) reinstall NS and test
2) reinstall HL's latest Patch and test
3) uninstall HL, delete the folder, reinstall HL, patch, install ns and test
If that doesnt work start looking at sound card and video card drivers more closely
are you overclocking the cpu or video card ? If so video card overheating will cause a frozen screen whereas cpu can cause freezing, crash to desktop, bsod (blue screen of death) and spontaneous rebooting.
