Console win, 4-2.
Tanith: Console win, LoC win.
Oribital: LoC win, Console win.
Veil: Console win, Console win.
Summary:
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Pregame: </u> (Game 1)</span>
Match did not begin officially until 10:42 PM EST. During the pregame, lots of antics were seen. Lots of funny stuff. I think it was the LoC red light towers of knifing death in double. Lots of jumping around and fun tricks to get to cool places if you were Marine. Meanwhile, on the HLTV, there was fun Flayra and meb smurfing. :o Oh yeah, and Console had a "walk-and-bite-skulk-train" going.
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Game 1: </u> Tanith (Console = Alien, LoC = Marine)</span>
In my honest opinion, it was a pretty lame game. It occured rather quickly, my best guess is somewhere around 15 minutes. Going to have to watch the replay.
`GoD did a pretty good fade, but I believe he did die once or twice, as we all do. I was hooked on many of the LoCers, as I was rooting for them.
The match ended with a slow and eventual breakdown of Marine start. It all went down hill after GoD took out the advanced armory. He later died and came back Onos?
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Pregame: </u> (Game 2)</span>
This had me laughing. Crazy antics in here, I think some crazy console dancing? Plus LoC was playing Leapfrog, one from back go to front, etc.
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Game 2: </u> Tanith (Console = Marine, LoC = Alien)</span>
This had to be my favorite game during the match, it was an LoC win, but rightfuly deserved. I believe it was a three-hive lockdown? Tope did a really awesome job of defending and eventually this map got deep into it with JPs and flying Fades, but eventually, it was a marine loss when they lost Waste. The highlight of this game was when Nirvana was killed as a Lerk by a phasegate.
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Pregame: </u> (Game 3)</span>
I missed this, can anyone fill in?
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Game 3: </u> Orbital (Console = LoC, LoC = Alien)</span>
Think I missed this one too :o
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Pregame: </u> (Game 4)</span>
Large Gap continues.
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Game 4: </u> Orbital (Console = Marine, LoC = Alien)</span>
I only saw the ending of this one. It looked like a pretty good match, can I have a bit more fill in please?
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Pregame: </u> (Game 5)</span>
Seldom antics, by this time HLTV was filled with blabbering people about the outcome of matches. Scout was very busy defending his precious brethren.
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Game 5: </u> Veil (Console = Alien, LoC = Marine)</span>
Need fill-in. (I was blabbering)
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Pregame: </u> (Game 6)</span>
Quick pregame, both sides were heavy in the zone now. GoD later commented that they didnt want to lose their east coasters.
--> <span style='color:orange'><u>Game 6: </u> Veil (Console = Marine, LoC = Alien)</span>
This had to be THE defining game of the map, besides being the ending.
LoC looked like they were going for a regular match, they went for res nodes and had one Gorge defending the hive. Most skulks went for double and one for Cargo.
But no, Marines refused. They had their eyes set on the SubSector hive, an armory was placed quickly and Shotguns were dropped. Once at subsector, GoD dropped mines as a defensive measure and killed the skulks. The rest of Console pumped the hive full, with an attempt to heal the hive-egg on the top, dropping to its death.

We should dispute because you guys blocked the floor with mines when you rushed the hive.
Trust me you don't want to see the demos.

That's uncalled for...
Sadly I missed it. I await the demos on AmpedNews. What was the prediction last night, 6-4 console?
When it is, I will post a link to it.
It was just a simple mine tactic for a defensive measure while they filled the hive.

Thanks to joe and #gaming-tv for uploading these.
And for the second one, you need the map ns_orbital_cal in order to watch it
Alas it was plenty of fun to watch, but it actually got boring thru the middle and there were about 150specs when it started then it droped down when we got to rounds 3-4 then went back up a bit in the tie breaker.
Heh sorry for spoilzing the end for everyone. Really should have SUYF'ed
Tbh ive always seen the other clans have a greater majority of well temper'ed Bhoppers so if the tides were reversed and we mounted a sg rush i bet it would have met with limited success compaired to consoles rush as they would have bhoped back to the hive faster.
Good games guys.
no offense urinal cake, but your summary is a little lacking, and what is there is a little off.
The best rounds to watch are the LoC alien rounds. They generally were more exciting because console went sensory and cloak-owned everything all three rounds.
Congratulations Console, <3 LoC
EDIT: The shotty rush was classic. It was done perfectly. All i could do was laugh and cringe when i saw it coming. I had a feeling it was gonna catch LoC totally off guard.
I couldn't remember the entire 2 or so hour match and put it in paper so easily, I really dont think you could either.
