Ive read through the site and I am still perplexed as to the advantages to getting Linux on a ipod. Anyone has any clue?

Also there is a product up to alow 2 iPods to talk to each other and transfer songs.

Yes, after hundreds of man hours of coding, voiding your warrenty (presumeably, although I didn't read that it does on the site I can't beleive that this would not), and waiting a few more versions until they get everything right, the iPod can finally be considered at least semi compeditive with other mp3 players. Woo.
