Computer components aren't even on the radar. Stick it in your hand luggage and if someone asks, tell them your friends in the states bought it for you as a present.

The only thing that I've ever had damage by xrays was camera film (not digital).
Also, I can't think of any computer components that look like bombs. I haven't seen any computer component that's a black sphere with a string sticking out the top.
