I bet that sucks, even here in wisconsin its upper 70s.
I never understood why people liked snow. It slows everything down, causes buisnesses to close, and it's flipping cold!
Sure, there's winter recreational activities, but that's only fun in the mountains, and mostly to tourists who normally don't see snow.
I'd kill for rain instead of snow.
It's going to be in the mid-80s here in Austin all week, dammit.
Sounds like you got it lucky to me. No ice on the road = less sliding death.

To be perfectly honest with you, I would volunteer to die in an ice related accident later in life if I could have a few years of snow first.

Here's the thing; If you have it, hate it. Dont have it, want it. Nice little thing to think about. Here in South Texas, it's like S.England, except with hot/humid weather, and much^3 rarer chances of snow. That's in our one-week span of winter, too.
I LOVE YOU TEXAS >:O
:P

There was a story from whenever that it snowed about an inch in I think it was Austin, and the govorner declaied that city in a state of emergancy. People were crashing left and right because nobody knew how to drive in the snow. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

13 inches... you get 13 inches of snow... and you don't have to go to school? What's up with that? How in hell does having 13 inches of snow make it somehow hard for you to go to school? What the **** is up with that?!

Edit: Sub zer0, where are those from? Looks pretty cool (no pun intended).

Lemme tell you about it. Here in Texas, we freak out when we see one snowflake fall from the ground.
Heh, imagine me tryin to make a snowball. :p
