My New Rig

<div class="IPBDescription">Rock On!</div> So, my old 15 watt solid-state amplifier was getting a bit tiring. You just couldn't get a good tone out of it. So I checked out the Dallas Guitar Show and ended up bringing some of it home with me!

Check it out, to the right is my new Fender Stratocaster, everything is original from the 70's or 80's (unsure exactly what year) except for the body, the guy I bought it from said it was probably a new body or the original had been sanded and re-finished, either way, I love that orange color!

The small amp is my old 15-watter and of course it's sitting on top of my brand new 1978 Fender Twin Reverb tube amp.

Whaddayathink?

i'm not a fan of telecasters myself, but damn. that is a nice amp.

I'm a drummer myself, and my guitar skills extend to playing the start of nothing else matters (the easy part), but if i was to get a guitar, i'd probably get one like this:

My guitar is a stratocaster, not a tele... but maybe that's what you meant and you just got the names wrong. I don't like tele's either, they have too much country twang to 'em. (Though I AM from Texas...)
