<div class="IPBDescription">enabled, but don't recieve or transmit</div>Hi all, I was hoping to get some help with this:

I can't hear anyone else talking on their mics, and I can't talk on mine!

I have mic plugged in and inputs are all set to record mic. The 'Voice' setup inside the game is turned on. I hit the test button but nothing happens. The sliders and checkbox on this Voice setup don't seem to do anything.

I have two sound cards now and I think NS is having a problem with it. HL2:DM voice works fine.

any ideas?

Do you have the mic plugged in mic input#1 or input#2? I use the second mic input on my soundcard, which half-life 1 doesn't recognize. I have a nifty program which allows me to use it in game, if you need it let me know, I'll post it.

-Just looking for more info on the prob-

Search your windows directory for sndrec32.exe, run it and test your microphone with it, if it doesn't work, try another hole in your soundcard or reïnstall your sound drivers.
