<div class="IPBDescription">no, you wont get paid</div> With the release of 3.0 i started a small <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=51&t=90961&st=0#entry1427960' target='_blank'>project</a>:

-Entering a server
-recording a demo
-using demofreak to read out the clients cl_updaterate and storing those numbers

My only problem is that i am not able to get sufficient data on American, Australian and Asian server because of the time-difference.

This is why i am looking for people, who live in one of the regions pointed out above and who are willing to record the data i am needing.

-I need only 1 person out of each region
-You need to be able to operate demofreak
<b>-You must be trustworthy (dont make up any numbers)</b>
-You must stick to the following rules
--Only servers running NS 3.02 are relevant
--HLTV servers are not relevant
--PW protected servers are not relevant
--Once a server has been tested the same server is not allowed to be tested for 48h
--You do not count yourself (with 11 people on a server only 10 are relevant for calculations)
--Only test servers with more than 4 people on it
--Bots are not relevant for calculations
--Once you have made 50 tests you send me:
---The number of total clients and the number of clients with a cl_updaterate less or equal to 15

If you want to sign up, just send me a pm containing the following information:
-How much time do you want to invest into this project weekly (50 tests take about 2 hours, including counting the clients)
-Which region do you want to take care for

If you have questions ask them in this thread, if you have something to say about the general idea use this <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=51&t=90961&st=0#entry1427960' target='_blank'>thread</a>

I can tell you that there are too many people with 15 updaterate. It shows they clearly know how to change their updaterate, as 20 is default, and actually want to mess about with it

However, updaterate 105 is quite, quite annoying also.

Edit - If you want to see the ammount of cmdrate abuse, set your interp to 0, if they still move smooth, their cmdrate is fine, if they do a hop skip and jump accross your screen, then their cmdrate is too low.

    imo anything below 30 is to low, 15 should be auto ban <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I am playing with cl_updaterate 30 and ex_interp 0 | rate 9999 | cl_cmdrate 60
and it is visible that many people dont have acceptable rates <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
